Trustworthy sources have stated that Sir Liam Payne, an ex-member of the famous boy band known as One Direction, has passed on at the age of 31 years. As reported, the hotel incident took place in Buenos Aires where he accidentally fell off the third floor. The unfortunate incident took place on Wednesday at a hotel located on Costa Rica Street, in the district of Palermo. Police responded to a 911 call regarding a disturbance and about an individual who appeared drunk or high and was creating a ruckus. While the cops did not initially identify the figure as Payne, they subsequently issued confirmation of the devastating news.
As per the fan videos shared on social platforms, on the 2nd of October, Payne was in Argentina enjoying the concert of his former band member Niall Horan. Only a couple of weeks back, he had celebrated his 31st birthday in the British isles and later shared some of the moments from the event on his snaps. Born in Wolverhampton, Payne was the third child among three siblings. He had also tended to be a music technology student at the City of Wolverhampton College.
Payne achieved global recognition when he joined the British Boyband ‘One Direction’ formed in The X-Factor UK in 2010. The band was made up of Harry Styles and Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson, and Nial Horan, who became a global sensation. Tony was particularly pleased to work with Tomlinson, his fellow band member, on the track ‘What a Feeling,’ which was inspired by Fleetwood Mac.
In 2015, One Direction proclaimed a hiatus, thus enabling Payne to delve into his solo pursuits. He launched his first solo offering, LP1 in 2019. He disclosed that he was working on a fresh album and even gearing up for a tour, expressing keen excitement towards the endeavor. However, due to a kidney infection he had to push back the tour, which was meant to kick off in South America in September 2023.
Before, Payne spoke about his drug addiction and had achieved the milestone of being sober for six months in summer. However, he spared no efforts in focusing on music and working on himself.
Bear, born in 2017 and the son of Payne and ex-Girls Aloud member Cheryl Cole, will forever be in his life. In a heartfelt YouTube video posted in the year 2023, Payne expressed his deep love for his son, who he called ‘awesome’ and remarked on how quickly he was growing up.
